This is a special year for Arts Fort Worth as we celebrate our 60th anniversary! We were founded in 1963 as the Arts Council of Fort Worth and have celebrated many achievements through the decades as the organization has grown and evolved to better promote, nurture, and support the arts in Fort Worth.

The future will present more opportunities and challenges and with your help we can continue to provide vital spaces, grants, and opportunities for the community so that everyone in Fort Worth can experience and share their story, through the arts. Arts Fort Worth’s impact on arts nonprofits and individual artists, performers, and creatives, especially emerging and mid-career, nurtures an arts community that makes Fort Worth a thriving cultural center.
Sarita Westrup was Arts Fort Worth Emerging Artist Residency in 2022. The residency, which comes with a monthly stipend, allowed Westrup to practice art full-time.

Your charitable contribution allows us to grow beyond dependence on dwindling resources and towards a strong future. With your help, Arts Fort Worth can continue to proactively pivot to meet the needs of the community and ensure that the essential resources like the Fort Worth Community Arts Center continue on for artists, nonprofits, and the community at-large.
