Mark Thistlethwaite is an art historian and longtime TCU professor, where he taught American visual culture for 43 years and received the Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished Teaching. A prolific author, curator, and former chair of Fort Worth’s Art Commission, he currently serves on the boards of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
