The Arts Council of Fort Worth held a Holiday Mixer Thursday, December 12th at 5:30 p.m. Local creatives enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, gallery tours, and games! The Arts Council’s mixers are a fun opportunity to connect with the arts community and to meet people from across Fort Worth. All who participate in or enjoy the arts are welcome!

In addition to holiday festivities, the Arts Council will be collected art supply donations for The WARM Place. The WARM Place is a nonprofit agency that provides peer-support groups for children and their families after the death of a loved one.

Arts Council of Fort Worth and the Fort Worth's Code Compliance Department partnered up for America Recycles Day! Recyclable materials donated at the Arts Center on America Recycles Day to a project for Fort Worth Public Art. The North Beach Corridor Public Art Project consists of twelve kinetic animal weather vanes created by artist Christopher Fennell. These sculptures will be located along the median of North Beach Street from Shiver Road to Timberland Boulevard.  For more information about this project visit
