Part of Arts Fort Worth's mission is to exhibit art that is innovative, inclusive, educational, and serve diverse audiences. Arts Fort Worth is seeking exhibition proposals from artists and curators for solo shows and curated proposals for group exhibitions of innovative art at a professional level of all art forms for the 2024 season. Proposals should demonstrate a consistency of vision and exhibitions will span from 4 - 8 weeks.

The Exhibition Advisory Panel (EAP) of Arts Fort Worth is seeking exhibition proposals from artists and curators for all art forms for our 2024 season. The mission of the EAP is to exhibit contemporary art with a focus on regional artists in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Exhibitions by national and/or international artists are also considered. We are looking for artist submissions for solo shows and curated proposals for group exhibitions of innovative art at a professional level. Proposals should demonstrate a consistency of vision and exhibitions will span from 4 - 8 weeks.

Format all file names as LastNameFirstInitialDocument.xxx (i.e. MuttRResume.pdf or MuttRImage1.jpg).

10-20 images of artworks: All files must be labeled and correspond with image list
Image list - All works must be labeled : Title, year. medium, dimensions
Proposals from Curators need to include:

A curator’s statement (no more than one page in length)
Resume/CV
List of artists, including brief CV/bios
List of works proposed, including approximate number of art works and estimate of space needed - linear or square footage
samples of art works, mock ups or plans - JPG (clearly labeled with an matching image list)
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Submissions will be reviewed in September. If you are selected to exhibit, you will need to provide precise specifications of what you plan to display. This is necessary so that we can place you in the appropriate gallery. While we will respect your original artistic vision, we retain the final right to edit the exhibition.

SUBMISSION: Images must be JPEGs with minimum width/height of 800 pixels, maximum size as 2MB. Do not use spaces or special characters (!@$, etc) in image file names. Video and audio files can be submitted through links. Arts Fort Worth reserves the right to reject inaccurately represented work, or incomplete submission.
PRESENTATION: Work must be suitably framed (or sides cleanly finished or painted) and ready for hanging. D-rings should be used for heavy works, wires for works under 5lbs. Drawings, prints, watercolors and pastels on paper must be under Plexiglass.
SALES: All work will be for sale unless the artist informs the gallery to the contrary. 30% of proceeds from sales will go to Arts Fort Worth and the remainder to the artists.
DEADLINE: All applications must be submitted before midnight (CMT) on August 31, 2023. Arts Fort Worth will notify accepted applicants in late September.
USE OF IMAGES: Any image submitted may be used for non-commercial, marketing or promotional purposes directly related to this show. This use may include in any publications, printed materials, advertisements, or electronic media. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the artist.

LIABILITY: This document represents a contract between Arts Fort Worth and the person(s) named on this document. Acceptance of this contract is a specific acceptance of the terms listed. Please be aware that Arts Fort Worth does not have funding available for travel stipend or shipping costs. Objects exhibited at Arts Fort Worth will be given great care. Unless the artist wishes to provide his/her own insurance coverage, Arts Fort Worth will insure all exhibitions under its existing insurance policy, which covers up to $500,000, against all risks of physical loss or damage while on the premises during the period of the exhibition. If the exhibitor(s) wish to provide his/her own insurance, such actions constitute the release of the Art Fort Worth from any liability in connection with the exhibition. Coverage is not authorized past the exhibition and artwork may not be stored at Arts Fort Worth unless prior arrangements have been made. Arts Fort Worth allows visitors to photograph works of art. Artists are required to contribute 30% from work sold in the exhibition. By submitting your artwork, you are agreeing to the terms above.
