New Stories: New Futures at Pioneer Tower was a uniquely Fort Worth art event featuring historical and modern perspectives, stories, and memories from the community. Taking place over two nights, this event featured artworks projected onto Pioneer Tower, created by internationally renowned artists Refik Anadol and Quayola. These artworks explores memories of Fort Worth and the region’s natural beauty.

 

The Arts Council of Fort Worth and AURORA also presented a public exhibition, curated by Dr. Lauren Cross, featuring works by North Texas artists who work with new media art. Pictured left to right, top to bottom are New Stories: New Futures artist Jessica Fuentes, Letitia Huckaby, Sedrick Huckaby, Angela Faz, Raul Rodriguez, Jin-Ya Huang, Ciara Bryant, Bernardo Vallarino, Jeff Gibbons, and Nick Bontrager.

Reservations were underwritten by the Arts Council of Fort Worth and offered to the public free of charge.
