Neighborhood Arts Program (NAP) Support
Must be a non-profit arts organization or college/university affiliated arts organization
NAP Support grants bring the performing, visual and interdisciplinary arts into traditionally underserved communities of Fort Worth by providing financial assistance for the cost of a single, defined program, to be completed at an appropriate NAP-designated venue (see “Venue Eligibility” below). Oftentimes, NAP are offered as in-school, after school, or summertime programs.
To ensure NAP programs reach the underserved audience intended, proposed projects must be held within an appropriate NAP eligible venue. NAP approved sites include those where 50% or more of the resident/user population falls below the poverty line -this criteria is identified through Title 1 school designations or location within a designated CDBG Eligible Area.
NAP eligible venues include facilities such as:
- Community centers
- Public schools
- Boys & Girls Clubs
- Places of worship
- Senior centers
To inquire about the eligibility of a particular facility, contact Arts Council staff via firstname.lastname@example.org.
No dollar maximum; may not exceed 50% of the submitted program budget.
1:1 cash match through any combination of earned or unearned income.
