Please join us in celebration of the amazing arts community in Fort Worth! The Arts Council of Fort Worth & Tarrant County welcomes the community to attend its Annual Meeting and Grant Presentation Ceremony. The evening will celebrate the arts and the success of the Arts Council’s public-private partnership with the City of Fort Worth. Together the Arts Council and the City of Fort Worth partner to fund arts organizations, programs and projects that play a vital role in positioning our city as a nationally recognized arts community. The evening will feature the presentation of grant awards to more than 43 local arts organizations as well as recognition of the invaluable role of the Arts Council’s volunteers and donors. The evening performances by MONDO Drummers, Fort Worth Opera, Artes de la Rosa and Contemporary Dance Fort Worth. Emceeing the 2012 Grant Awards Presentation is Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price.

Celebrate the arts with us and come to hear plans for the Arts Council’s 2012-2013 year…a pivotal year that leads the organization into its 50th anniversary. The event is complimentary and open to all in the community. Parking for the event is complimentary in the Western Heritage Parking Garage adjacent to the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.

The Grants Presentation Ceremony is a true celebration of the arts and features both live performances and narratives about the grassroots programming and projects helping to develop and nurture the arts. We look forward to having you join us!
